Dr. Anupam Basu is the Program Director for the Diagnostic Radiology residency at Cook County Health. He completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center, and a Musculoskeletal Imaging fellowship at Evanston Northshore prior to joining Cook County in 2009. He completed his M.B.A through the Kellogg School of Management with a focus on health enterprise and entrepreneurship. Dr. Basu is actively involved in quality improvement initiatives within the department, and works closely with the Emergency Department and Trauma Department to improve and streamline CT imaging protocols. He is particularly interested in low-dose Chest CT lung cancer screening, and its implications on an underserved, inner city population.
