I grew up in Maryland before my family moved to Illinois, where I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I took a gap year where I worked at the National Institutes of Health, and then obtained my medical degree from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern. I completed a surgery intern year in Las Vegas before returning to Northwestern for diagnostic radiology residency.
