Dr. Savas is an ABR and ABNM certified radiologist who is subspecialized in Cardiothoracic and Nuclear Medicine/Molecular Imaging. She focuses on Oncology Imaging with a special interest PET/CT, PET/MR, novel imaging agents, and HRCT/interstitial lung disease. She is associate professor in radiology, the fellowship director of ABR Alternate Pathway Fellowship, the medical director of PET/MRI and associate director of Quantitative Imaging Core Lab for molecular imaging at Northwestern University Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She has been the author and co-author of multiple scientific papers, more than 65 scientific and educational exhibits/abstracts, and 4 book chapters. She is a reviewer for several journals and a member of several professional organizations.

I liked the multifaceted aspect of radiology. While I am an integral part of the patient’s care and make a big difference on decision making, I also have reasonably comfortable way of practicing/living. Each case brings new pleasure and levels of complexity to my daily excitement, and I love it!
