I graduated from Medical School in Dublin, from Trinity College and started my Radiology Training in Allegheny General Hospital, in Pittsburgh, in 1989. Following graduation in 1993, I completed a Pediatric Radiology Fellowship in St. Louis Children's Hospital before moving to Detroit. I completed a Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship in Wayne State University and was an Attending in Detroit Children's Hospital and Harper Hospital Detroit. In 2008, I moved back to Pittsburgh to take up a position as an Interventional Pediatric Radiologist in Pittsburgh Children's Hospital of UPMC, becoming Chief of Interventional Radiology in 2010. My research focus has been on managing complications of liver transplantation and I hold a federal grant for studying hepatocyte transplantation. I have authored over 30 articles and book chapters.
