Dr. Johnson is Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, and Neurosurgery at Yale University School of Medicine where has served as Director of Interventional Neuroradiology for 21 years. Her practice encompasses all neuro-interventional procedures and neuroimaging with a focus on vascular, spine and head and neck. Her clinical and research interests center on emergency neuroimaging and intervention. She is a graduate of the Yale Medical Education Fellowship where she focused on interdisciplinary teaching across subspecialties. In recognition of her clinical service, teaching and academic contributions she was elected a 2015 ACR Fellow. She is a longstanding member of ASNR, ASSR and ASER serving on committees and frequent speaker at the annual meetings. She was elected a Fellow of the American Society of Emergency Radiology (ASER) in 2017. She is a Senior Member of the American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR) with numerous publications, exhibits, chapters and review articles. She is the first Past President of the American Society of Spine Radiology (ASSR), having been the program chair for the 2020 annual meeting.
