Emily Marshall, PhD

Emily Marshall, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Radiology and a Clinical Diagnostic Physicist at the University of Chicago. She serves as a faculty member on the Graduate Program's Committee on Medical Physics at the University of Chicago. Her clinical interests include optimizing technologies and radiation safety in both interventional radiology and diagnostic fluoroscopy suites alike, and further, the longitudinal tracking of doses incurred by patients from medical imaging. Her research interests focus on the development of translational radiation dosimetry modelling for the application of fluoroscopic imaging in pediatric patient populations. Emily currently serves as the Director of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee in the Department of Radiology at the University of Chicago. Emily feels passionately that a work environment inclusive of all peoples will create a dynamic and enriching practice of medicine and ultimately lead us to optimal patient care.
