Jessie Aw-Zoretic, MB ChB is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. She is a Pediatric Neuroradiologist and Fetal Imager at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Medical Imaging department, Chicago, with dedicated time at Lurie’s Chicago Institute for Fetal Health helping to bring the highest quality of care and patient satisfaction for expectant mothers and families. As a physician-scientist, her research focuses on neurodevelopment, with an interest in advance MR imaging techniques.

Dr. Aw-Zoretic completed her medical degree at Sheffield University, and Radiology Residency in England. She subsequently travelled abroad to complete her Radiology Fellowships in Australia before coming to United States of America as an International/Foreign Medical Graduate (IMG/FMG). She completed multiple Radiology Fellowships including adult & pediatric neuroradiology as well as pediatric radiology through the ABR Alternate Pathway at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and Northwestern Hospital.

She currently works in academics at Ann & Robert H. Lurie’s Children Hospital here in Chicago, with dual certification in Neuroradiology and Pediatric Radiology.

Aside from clinical responsibilities, Dr. Aw-Zoretic is involved at committee level in several prominent radiology; American Society of Pediatric Radiology and Society of Pediatric Radiology.  In 2020, she became involved in the Radiology Expo, a non-profit organization with vested interest in highlighting Radiology to medical students and trainees, as well as clinical research and trainee education. She is always seeking novel teaching techniques to enhance her effectiveness.  She has published two radiology study guides (Final FRCR 2B Long Cases: A Survival Guide and FRCR 2B Viva) dedicated to the British Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists exit exam. She also spends time teaching back in England on the Aintree FRCR course and as a member of The Feinberg Academy Medical Educator at Northwestern Medical School, Dr. Aw-Zoretic is an active educator and mentor to the next generation of doctors.

Her interests outside of work include being a foodie as well as trying to improve her own baking/cooking skills, and gardening (even with two young kids!) with a farm to table ethos.
