Olga Pasternak-Wise, MD, MS

Olga Pasternak Wise, MD is an Assistant Professor of Radiology in the University of Chicago. She serves as Director of CT and Trauma and as the Fellowship Program Director. She also shares the Residency Associate Program Director role with Dr. Nisa Cem Oren.
Dr. Pasternak Wise completed her medical degree at Rush Medical College in 2008, radiology residency at Loyola University Healthcare System in 2013 and her neuroradiology fellowship at Northwestern in 2014. She worked in the private practice setting in Chicago and Northwest Indiana prior joining the academic faculty at University of Chicago Medical Center in 2020. Dr. Pasternak Wise participated in the Radiology Expo for two years as the Education Committee Chairperson prior to becoming a co-sponsor of the event, now called the RadExpo to allow a shift from being a local endeavor to a more inclusive radiology educational showcase. In addition to Dr. Pasternak Wise's passion in trainee education, she is part of a robust research team at University of Chicago focusing on developing AI/Machine learning models to understand, prognosticate and tackle complex neurologic diseases, as well as penetrating brain injury. Her biggest love outside of work is her young daughter, with whom she loves to cook, bake, craft, travel and see Broadway shows.
