Why is Radiology important?

We're on the very front line. Often, we are the first ones to see what is truly happening with the patient and to synthesize it together into a common diagnosis.

Biography

I studied at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for undergrad where I obtained a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. After that attending UIC medical school and then stayed on at UIC for a medical internship year and then radiology residency. Took an MRI fellowship at UW Madison then came back to Chicago where I practiced general radiology at Mercy Hospital for a couple years. After that spend a couple years in academics as Body attending teaching staff at UIC. I went back to private practice recently this summer and am back to all modalities including mammography.
